
Belinda graduated from Glasgow
University in 1985 with an
MA (Soc Sci), and moved to London to work in
Retail Management. She
was heavily involved in the training and development of sales assistants
and managers, and after 10 happy years, was headhunted to work for a
Retail Training Provider.
Here, she took a leading role in the development of training
programmes including Retail, Job Search, Personal and Staff Development
and became a qualified NVQ Assessor
and Internal Verifier. Within 18
months she was given responsibility for the development of systems
and procedures and for ensuring that the organisation met all the
Government's quality standards. As the company expanded she became
heavily involved in the strategic development
of the organisation
taking it from a small to a medium sized enterprise
In June 1998, she set up Bell Associates
to provide advice and
support to other organisation's involved in the delivery of Government
funded training. She has worked for a large number of public and private
sector organisations, assisting them in meeting the requirements of the
Training Standards Council
and the Adult Learning Inspectorate, assisting
in the development of Self Assessment Reports and Development Plans and
preparing them for External Inspection.
In addition to working with organisations undergoing Self Assessment
and Inspection, Belinda designs and delivers
customised training courses
on a wide range of topics to assist companies in meeting their business
objectives and works as an NVQ Assessor and Internal Verifier for Management,
Business Administration, Customer Service and Retail.
